Forbes Cupola Suite (2 story suite)

Rate $185-$410 based on season.

A two story guestroom that includes a bedroom with king sleigh bed, sitting area and private bath, plus a private staircase to the cupola with 2 comfortable reclining chairs, television, desk area, small fridge and Keurig machine. The suite maintains a classic charm while providing modern amenities including a private bath with pedestal sink, ample Corian shelf space and spacious tiled shower complete with rain shower head plus hand held shower. The suite provides individual heat/ac in each of its rooms, cable television in the bedroom, and an additional cable television in the cupola. The bedroom has 9 foot ceilings and two original plantation style windows with the north window offering a beautiful view of the front garden and stone walkway. This is the only guest room to feature a small refrigerator and Keurig machine.Please note: the stairway to the cupola has a clearance of 5' 8" in one spot, so taller guests should use caution and duck.

Nye Room (2nd Floor)

An elegant recently remodeled room boasting a queen bed, private bath with rain shower, 9 foot ceilings and period plantation windows with wood shutters. A comfortable seating area provides guests a cozy reading spot and a petite window seat on the east side of the room offers a view of the historic Falmouth Village green. The north window looks down upon the front garden and stone walkway that leads through the wrought iron gate. The bathroom hosts a pedestal sink with ample additional Corian shelf space and a spacious tiled shower with rain shower head and a hand held shower. The room is named after ship Captain Andrew Nye who built The Captain’s Manor Inn in 1849

Tuscany Room (2nd Floor)

This second floor corner room with king sized bed, evokes a feeling of Tuscany through the use of warm shades of yellows, browns, greens, and other natural earth tones from the Tuscany color palate. Past guests have remarked on the bright atmosphere of the room and feeling that they are staying in a room reflecting the outdoors. The sitting area has two  comfortable arm chairs and a beautiful view of the backyard lawn, gardens and gazebo. A large closet with shelves provides plenty of storage. A small secretary desk adorns one corner of the room. The oversize private bathroom features a rain shower.

Canopy Room (2nd Floor)

Rate $160-$375 based on season.

Named for the lovely king canopy bed that offers a comfortable respite from the day, the canopy room is located on the second floor and enjoys wonderful afternoon sun. Two original plantation windows with shutters provide natural light and a feeling of expansiveness. The south window sitting area is unique in that the window has been transformed to a work of art by Robin Pierson and features a nautical map of Cape Cod and lovely colored glass. The Canopy room has plenty of closet space. A detailed hand painted pedestal sink in the corner of the room is separate from the room’s oversized private bathroom with additional sink and custom tiled spacious shower with rain shower head and hand held shower.

Bates Room (2nd Floor)

The Bates Room features a king size bed, fireplace, and private bath with rain shower. It's our most private room, located on the top floor of the inn. Nine foot ceilings and expansive windows provide beautiful views of the back gardens as well as sunrises and sunsets. Enjoy the welcoming corner fireplace and sitting area while reading a book or watching TV as you relax. A spacious tiled shower with rain shower head and a hand held shower await you in your private bathroom along with a pedestal sink. The Bates room is named after Katherine Lee Bates, author of “America the Beautiful” and a Falmouth neighbor who lived across from the Inn when she was a youngster.

Hatch Room (Main Floor)

Rate $175-$399 based on season.

This first floor guest room features a king bed, private bath with huge double rain shower and a claw foot tub. The grand 12 foot ceilings along with expansive windows offer beautiful views of the back gardens. We invite you to relax in front of the corner fireplace in your comfortable sitting area. A lovely bathroom is a real treat with claw foot soaking rub and spacious tiled shower with two rain shower heads and a hand held shower. The room features an outside verandah that wraps around the room, which is private for the guests of this room. The room is also handicap accessible. The Hatch room is named after Jonathan Hatch, who along with Isaac Robinson founded the town of Falmouth in 1660.

Robinson Room (Garden Level)

Rate $165-$365 based on season.

This garden level guest room features a King bed, fireplace, covered patio, outdoor entrance, spacious bathroom with rain shower and large soaking tub. The outdoor covered patio area and private entrance, in addition to having access from the Inn itself, makes this a very private room. Two comfortable wing back chairs complement the corner fireplace that is part of your sitting area. Your private over-sized custom tiled bathroom features a spacious tiled shower with rain shower head and a hand held shower along with a separate large soaking tub.

The Heritage Room

The Heritage Room is generally not available for booking and is used for to allow guests to extend their stay when other rooms may not be available.
