We are very proud of our guest, George Austin, and his illustrious curling accomplishments.  Just this weekend he stayed at our bed and breakfast for the 2011 GNCC Senior Men’s Championship at the Cape Cod Curling Club right around the corner in Falmouth.  There were 17 teams that competed over the 4 day event for the coveted trophy which he has captured five times as skip (captain) on the winning rink (team) .  Kevin and I enjoyed watching George’s team compete live. We look forward to George and Kathy’s return in July, when George’s team will be Defending Champions in the Cape Cod Mixed Summer Bonspiel (36 teams) and Defending Champions in the Cape Cod Men’s Summer Bonspiel (24 teams) I have attached some pictures of George and the event and even have a video to share.
