For those of you interested in the mechanical side of things I am posting some pictures of the previous boiler/heating system and the new one.

The previous one has been our Cape Cod Bed and Breakfast since 1959 and was operating at 64% efficiency…if the truth be told that was the year of my birth and I sure hope I am operating at better than 64% efficiency but anyways….

The new heating system is about 1/3 the size of the previous and is operating at 98% efficiency.

The old heating system was about 1500 pounds of cast iron and the new system is about 200 pounds of aluminum.
