Bates Room (2nd Floor)

The Bates Room features a king size bed, fireplace, and private bath with rain shower. It’s our most private room, located on the top floor of the inn. Nine foot ceilings and expansive windows provide beautiful views of the back gardens as well as sunrises and sunsets. Enjoy the welcoming corner fireplace and sitting area while reading a book or watching TV as you relax. A spacious tiled shower with rain shower head and a hand held shower await you in your private bathroom along with a pedestal sink. The Bates room is named after Katherine Lee Bates, author of “America the Beautiful” and a Falmouth neighbor who lived across from the Inn when she was a youngster.
