Historic buff trivia - The Captain’s Manor Inn bed and breakfast was the first summer home built in Falmouth and E. Pierson Beebe of Boston, a director of the Androscoggin Mills in Lewiston, Maine, one of the largest cotton mills in New England, built Highfield Hall in 1878, another of the early summer homes in Falmouth. E. Pierson Beebe also built St. Barnabas Memorial Church in 1889, as a thank you offering for his financial success.

If you like murder mysteries we suggest you attend a special event on May 14th at the Highfield Hall Mansion in Falmouth, Ma. while enjoying a respite at our Cape Cod Bed and Breakfast, The Captain’s Manor Inn. You will experience what Highfield Hall is referring to as Musical Mayhem. In the midst of music from Robert Wyatt, a murder occurs. Who did it? The killer must be stopped and it’s up to you to find the clues. Wonderful Hors d’ouevres from the Casual Gourmet and a cash bar will complement the event.
We are personally looking forward to this special event and I am taking Mom for her birthday. We hope you join in the fun.
Be sure to make Reservations early for your Guestroom at THE CAPTAIN’S MANOR INN
