As many of you know,Kevin loves his construction projects so you can imagine he is very happy to have broken ground for our new carriage house innkeepers quarters.

Just this past week the contractors arrived.  On day one two evergreens by the garage were relocated to the back yard near the gazebo and the demolition of the garage was done.   By the end of the week the excavation for the new foundation was complete.  During the excavation a 1914 Massachusetts license plate was unearthed…..How fun!1914 Mass license plate

The beginning of this week the foundation will be staked and the concrete forms set and the hope is that the foundation will have been poured by Thursday or Friday.
